About Me

I am a staying-at-home Mom.  I quit my job as an engineer to take on a more stressful job of raising a boy.

We as a family love to travel.  Sometimes I feel it's in the genes. My son started to travel since he was 18 months old.  He now takes on his Canon point-n-shoot camera that he inherited from us when we recently upgraded to the Canon Rebel SLR. When we travel, we love almost every aspect of it: the food, the culture, the people, the scenery, the architecture, the sound of the language, the dirty streets, the rain, the train strikes, etc.

My travel philosophy is to be an independent tourist. I never want to take a tour if I can help it.  Taking a tour just takes most of the fun out of traveling for me.  I like to plan and study a destination. Most people want the trip that they spend so much money on to be perfected planned and excuted.  For me, it's the both the good and the bad events that make the trip memorable.
